These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] ("Assay," "we") for using assayonline.com and the Assay app. If you use Assay for a company, you're agreeing for that company and telling us you have the authority to do so.

Your account

Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. The owner of an organization decides who joins it and what role each person has, and is responsible for what those users do in it.

Free trial

New organizations get a 14-day free trial with no card required. When the trial ends, your records go read-only until you choose a plan. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe.

Plans and billing

Prices are listed on assayonline.com. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The Team plan is charged per user. Stripe handles all card details; Assay never sees your card number. You can change your plan, users, or card at any time from the billing page in the app. [TAXES, REFUNDS AND PRICE-CHANGE NOTICE]

Your data

You own the records you put into Assay. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run the service for you. We don't sell your records or share them with other customers.

You can export everything at any time, including after a trial ends or a subscription is cancelled. See the Privacy Policy for where your data lives and how it's handled.

Sending is up to you

Assay drafts messages; it never sends them. You decide what goes out, from your own email account, and you're responsible for following the laws that apply to your outreach, such as CAN-SPAM, and for the accuracy of what you send.

Data you bring in

If you import records from another service, such as a lead database or a paid project report, you're responsible for having the right to use them that way. Imported records stay in your own workspace and are never shared with other customers.

Fair use

Don't use Assay to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, or try to get into another customer's data or our systems. We may suspend an account that does.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from the billing page. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for. After that, your records stay readable and exportable. [HOW LONG RECORDS ARE KEPT AFTER CANCELLING]

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell account owners by email before it takes effect.
